Environmental laws and regulations are increasing in complexity and scope at an almost exponential rate. Today almost every business must concern itself with some level of environmental regulation. Activities of individual landowners are increasingly being covered by these laws and regulations as well.
In his role as the first General Counsel of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Mr. Hunter was one of the early practitioners of environmental law in the state.
